19th annual competition will honor the most innovative and inspired launches from the past year

CHICAGO CSPis now accepting nominations for its 19th annual Retailer Choice Best New Products Contest (BNPC). The BNPC honors todays top innovations and tomorrows solutions, focusing on the most innovative and inspiring product launches from the past year.

Through June 30,CSPis asking retailers and suppliers to submit their nominations for best new products across several key convenience-store categories. Up to five submissions can be made byvisiting here.

After nominations are collected, finalists will be determined byCSPeditors and staff, and retailers will have the opportunity to vote for their favorites.

Eligible submissions include products available in convenience-store formats between June 1, 2021, and June 1, 2022, and should show product innovation or groundbreaking advancement. Winners of the BNPC will be announced during the NACS Show®, Oct. 1-4, in Las Vegas, and featured in the October issue ofCSPmagazine.

Following the slowdowns in innovation and distribution issues caused by the pandemic, theres no doubt manufacturers have returned to an aggressive schedule of new-product rollouts, saidCSPEditor in Chief Steve Holtz. I suspect this years crop of contest finalists will be an ambitious crop of new solutions, novel flavors and familiar-brand line extensions. Cant wait to see who comes out on top!
